Timothy Malooly
President
CIC, CLIA, 2008 EPA WaterSense Partner of the Year
Tim is a tireless advocate for water-efficient irrigation and is a leader in the irrigation industry, nationally and in the Upper Midwest. In 2008, he received the EPA WaterSense Partner of the Year Award – the first irrigation professional to be so honored. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Irrigation Association and leads its national Ambassadors Program, which helps members enhance water-efficient practices and business outreach capabilities. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) and chairs its Government Affairs Committee. He formerly led MNLA’s Irrigation Industry Committee. Tim is a member of the Gopher State OneCall Board and the Minnesota State Board of Electricity. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
Craig Otto

Craig specializes in developing and auditing award-winning irrigation systems while helping clients maximize the value and efficiency of their investments in irrigation. In working with clients, Craig draws on the deep and diverse expertise gained over his nearly 20-year career in the irrigation industry. After serving as a golf course superintendent, he moved into residential/commercial irrigation as a lead service technician, ultimately owning and operating a service-oriented irrigation company. In addition to promoting high-efficiency irrigation for WIM clients, Craig is a frequent and highly sought national and international instructor and curriculum advisor on the use of technology and products to enhance water efficiency in irrigation systems.
Caty Kakos Johnson
Design Manager
CLIA, EPA WaterSense Partner
Caty draws on her extensive training in computer-aided design and irrigation system requirements to create detailed, computer-generated designs for high-efficiency irrigation systems. She has designed numerous landscape irrigation systems in the U.S. and Canada, including many high-efficiency systems involving green roofs, low-volume irrigation and rainwater collection systems. An interior design graduate of the Art Institutes International Minnesota, Caty creates award-winning irrigation system designs by combining her innate drive for accuracy, detail and beauty with her skills in using computer programs such as AutoCAD, Land FX and Adobe Creative Suite.
Al Bevier
Technologies Systems Manager
Al Bevier graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Information Systems Management. Al has over 20 years of experience in computer systems management and operations. Focused on business processes and how they interface with computer systems, Al manages all central control systems for WIM as the manager of the Applied Technologies Division. Al works with clients to develop highly efficient irrigation systems that meet the needs of individual sites.
